Luxury glamping tent for big groups
The accommodation
Glamping! The atmosphere and freedom of camping, but with the comfort of a hotel! The luxurious six-person tents all have their own kitchen, 3 bedrooms with box-spring beds and a complete bathroom. We have furnished our group tent with 3 double rooms especially for the summer holidays. This makes this tent comparable to the other glamping tents. However, this tent does not have a box bed and the living room is very spacious. Furthermore, the facilities are the same as the other tents.
These luxury safari tents are located next to the canoe pond on a small-scale holiday park. The front of the tents can be fully zipped open so that you can walk onto the deck terrace with comfortable scaffolding wooden lounge benches and have an unobstructed view of the pond. The tents have scaffolding wood furniture and the kitchen is also made of scaffolding wood. The three bedrooms have 2 separate box-spring beds (which can of course also be put together). The tents have a luxurious bathroom unit with a comfortable shower (of course with hot water), toilet and bathroom furniture. There are gas heaters in all tents that provide a pleasant warmth when it cools down a bit in the evening.
The holiday park
The accommodations are located in the yard of a former farm. The sports fields (volleyball field, football field and tennis court) are free to use by everyone. There are also various exciting playground equipment for small children. The go-karts and the canoes are especially popular. There is also a covered area with various play equipment in the yard.
We also offer some extra service like, beer tap rental, catering, barbecue rental and outdoor activities.
Area
The small-scale holiday park is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park is located on the edge of the 1100-hectare Kuinderbos, where you can go for a walk, go cycling and go horse riding on the riding trails. The location of the holiday park offers enough opportunities to make various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is definitely worth it. The Frisian lakes and forests of Gaasterland are also within half an hour's drive from the park.
In the north of Overijssel are the wetlands, called the Weerribben (national nature park) and the Wieden. Slightly above that is the Rottige Meenthe. These areas together form a large low peat bog that was created in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries as a result of peat extraction. The area is largely open to the public. You can go there to canoe, cycle or walk. A visit to the visitor center in Sint Jansklooster or in Ossenzijl is also definitely worth it. The town of Giethoorn also deserves extra attention. Giethoorn, with many canals, bridges and lakes, is called the Venice of the North.
